WING CHUN MARTIAL ARTS principles and techniques

Upon discovering Wing Chun may people find it intoxicating,with its common sense principles,and unique practice. Because it is taught one to one by direct transmission it is easy to be initially fooled by someone who has more experience. The highest level of skill and a true true measure of a master is the ability to defend without hurting the student. This is the highest level and I have only found Yip Chun to have that level of skill. Confucius is regarded as the teacher’s teacher in both China and throughout the world. The principles of the ‘Doctrine of the Mean’are a good guide to those who eventually find themselves teaching. Yip Chun always told me that in regard to Wing Chun it is important to make someone a student and friend which also means that a teacher should be friend and teacher also. Remember good students come from bad teachers and bad students can also come from good teachers.
